The Black Bulls Bulldogs kennel was established in 1992. Our first litter was born in 1993.
Our line is based on a dog, called Int.Ch. Singidunum Ginger Boy. Ginger was a fantastic standard size, healthy, a very typical male. Son of Int.Ch Greatshot Buckmaster and Int.Ch Ardenrun Pause For Applause. Greatshot Buckmaster is a son of Merriveen Halcyon Daze. Ginger is a line bred dog for this Merriveen line.
We think this old Merriveen line is the best to follow. In these dogs can be found the typical bulldog with good anatomy and good movement. I always try to go back to this line. That is why I try to use lines like Kelloe, Merriveen.
In the past 13 years we have won 142 CACIB titles with home bred bulldogs! For us the most important things are the health, movement and temperament. We only breed with dogs, which have 100% perfect anatomy and movement.
Our dogs are free from the SHORT UPPER ARM and LUXATING PATELLA problems. We never use a dog or a bitch whose health is not 100% perfect! That is why we have never had a 'swimmer' puppy. Our puppies run at 3 weeks of age.

-- At 2002 Dortmund World Dog Show, Black Bulls Hanky Panky won the champion class at the age of 9 at the biggest entering ever, under breed specialist Mr Stefan Sinko.
Hanky won the class, because she had the best anatomy and movement, and after 20 circles she was still able to run, without any health problem!!! --

Our bulldogs have a good respiratory system, and a strong heart so they have no problems with the hot weather. We keep them free at a 3000m2 garden, where they run and play all day long!

That is also a reason for our bulldogs health.
